17 new images on Taral Wayne's Pygmalion Syndrome pages, some brand new, others originally posted elsewhere and seen here for the first time. Almost all of the images are accompanied by Taral's original descriptions, with the occasional interjection by me. In addition, I've added several new description pages for images that didn't previously have them, with Taral's notes from their appearances on Yahoo Groups.

If the Hugo Awards Twitter feed is to be believed the Best Fan Artist Award goes to... Frank Wu. Sigh. Looks like Taral is destined once more to be the bridesmaid, never the blushing bride. Metaphorically speaking, of course. I've taken a look at Mr. Wu's work, and it's highly competent and professional, but totally lacking in the one thing that makes Taral's art (like Naga's) so appealing to me, namely wit. You can't help wondering if the real reason Taral didn't get it is because of a prejudice against furry art. Oh, well, at least he got to design some of the Anticipation merchandise.
Anyway, Taral has sent me a whole bunch of freeze-related art which I'll be posting on his Pygmalion Syndrome pages on August 24, to mark the 2nd anniversary of his debut on the site. Address above. Please take a look. |
